Supporting our wounded warriors

  Real Warriors Exciting news! We’ve been invited and accepted to be a national partner of the Real Warriors Campaign, a national, multiyear public education campaign sponsored by the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE). The campaign has an essential mission to:
  • Eliminate the stigma associated with seeking psychological health treatment
  • Encourage service members to seek treatment, and
  • Help service members, families and friends access information and resources for psychological health
The Real Warriors Campaign will feature stories of real service members who have sought treatment and are continuing to maintain successful military and civilian careers. You’ll notice a new ‘Real News for Real Warriors’ widget on the far-right sidebar of this blog, featuring links to news and stories about veteran health, traumatic brain injury, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other issues related to the Real Warriors Campaign. Companion pet adoption contributes in real and meaningful ways to the psychological and physical well-being of our service members and veterans. We’re very proud to be a national partner to The Real Warriors Campaign and will share more with you in the weeks ahead. Woot!!
