Texas Cowboy needs a new home
From time to time we get asked to help with things that are outside of our mission, and we help where we can. Today I received a call from the pregnant wife of a deployed Texas soldier who needs to rehome their darling lab/pit mix, Cowboy. Turns out the soldier’s daughter is allergic to the dog. For now, Cowboy spends a lot of time outside in the yard and in his doghouse, but with bad weather just around the corner, this military family believes the fairest and best thing is to find Cowboy a new forever home. Cowboy currently lives in Kileen, Texas. He’s 6-months old, house trained, has all his shots, and is good with kids and other dogs. He does need to be neutered and still has that puppy spirit, so he could probably use a little extra training to be on his best behavior. Email me at info at petsforpatriots dot org if you can help this military family find a new, forever home for Cowboy. Many thanks! Here are a few more pictures of this adorable little bundle: Looks like Cowboy is expecting a treat! Not quite getting the dog bed thing… Finally… sweet dreams, Cowboy!
